MEREDITH — Enjoy a day of holiday fun and food at Moulton Farm on Saturday, Dec. 17, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. "Christmas at Moulton Farm" will include something for people of all ages. Most activities are free of charge, including a visit with Santa.
Tractor-pulled wagon rides around the farm run 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Warm up before and after the ride with a free hot chocolate bar hosted by The Xavier Group. Whipple Tree Winery will hold a wine tasting 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for adults. Throughout the day sample some of the food prepared in the farm's kitchen and bakery.
Children of all ages can enjoy making free Christmas ornaments. Kids, accompanied by an adult, can drop into the crafting area 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m., or check out the cookie decorating station.
The farm's holiday workshop, "Making Holiday Centerpieces," will start at noon. Pre-registration is required. Materials are included, but special container, favorite embellishments, lights, or other decorations from home are encouraged.
For the day's big event, Santa will arrive by tractor at 2 p.m.
